John Rumpf, 56, of Winslow, passed away on September 4, 2024. After graduating from Edgewood HS in 1986, he enlisted in the Navy where he proudly served aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. After leaving the Navy, he found employment with Comcast and remained with them for thirty years. He was an avid Phillies and Steelers fan. If there was a food truck festival in the area, you would be sure to find him there.
Dear brother of Stephanie. Beloved nephew of Kathy (late Chuck) Iannacone, Florence (late Joe) Rumpf, Pat (late Bob) Rumpf, Pat (Nick) Giaconia, and Jean (Ken) Siderio.
John was predeceased by parents John and Amelia (Iannacone) Rumpf, grandparents Joseph and Anne (Petryk) Rumpf, and Ben and Lee (DiMartino) Iannacone.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, September 11th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and on Thursday September 12th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main St., Williamstown. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM. Committal St. Mary’s Cemetery, Williamstown.
