Johnny M. Rodrigo

Johnny M. Rodrigo, 79, of Williamstown, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021.

Born in San Nicolas, Philippines and Johnny came to America in 1973. Besides spending quality time with his grandchildren, Johnny played chess with friends, enjoyed gambling in AC, and discussed current events and sports with everyone around. Living in Jersey City for many years he was able to see the NY Giants and Mets win Championships and later celebrated the Phillies and Eagles do the same. He was also a big Knicks and Sixers fan. Above all, Johnny lived for helping his family and showing generosity to those he knew. 

Beloved husband of Florida (nee Reyes) for 44 years. Devoted father of Janet (Nick) Zerno. Loving papa of Olivia and Sophia. Dear brother of Felisa Axibal, Andrea Palomares, Gerardita Serquina, the late Jose Rodrigo, the late Teresa Tabuno, the late Robert Rodrigo, the late Vicente Rodrigo and the late Celestine Rodrigo. Loving uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewings on Sunday, December 12th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM and Monday, December 13th from 8:30 – 9:30 AM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s RC Church, Main St. & Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Franklin Twp.
