Joseph J. McFadden, Sr., 91, of Williamstown, New Jersey passed away peacefully on January 21, 2022.
Born in Philadelphia in 1930, Joe was a proud Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. Joe and his beloved wife, Lois, moved to Williamstown in 1968 where they raised their five children. Prior to retiring, he worked at State Farm Insurance for many years. Joe was a proud and humble man who adored his children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Joe enjoyed spending time at his home in Mt. Pocono with his family and many friends.
Beloved husband of the late Lois McFadden (nee Egolf). Devoted father of Joseph, Jr. (Kathleen), Lois (late Mark) Henault, James (Jackie), Michael (Donna) and Thomas (Rebecca). Loving grandfather of Anna, Christopher (Taybi), Heather (Diego), Katie (Christopher) Seeley, Joseph (Casey) Henault, Michelle (Peter) Basile, Sean, Ashley, Ryan, Reaghan, Michael, Sarah and Jessica. Loving great-grandfather of Bianca, Jordyn, Aaliyah, Nathan, Abigail, Brynlee, Carter and soon to be Brodie. Joe is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 South Main Street, Williamstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Peace Parish/St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Main Street and Carroll Avenue, Williamstown. Interment with full Military Honors will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Walnut Street, Williamstown.
