Joseph Walters

Joseph Walters, 61, of Williamstown, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Beloved son of Carole (nee Dettmer) and the late John “Jack” Walters. Devoted father of Charles Walters and John Walters. Dear brother of John (Stephanie) Walters, Mark Walters, Kathy (Dan) Vecchio, Matthew Walters and Karen (Greg) Webb. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews & great nieces and nephews.

Joe enjoyed nature and being outdoors. But it was his children who meant the most to him. Joe was given a rare opportunity at the end of his life. Hours before his death, he asked for a priest. He was able to have his confession heard, receive Holy Communion and receive the Sacrament of the Sick. He was able to leave this earth walking hand in hand with Jesus, into eternal life.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, April 21st from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at St. Mary's R.C Church / Our Lady of Peace Parish, 32 Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM. Private Inurnment.
