Josephine A. Collings

Josephine A. Collings (nee Ligatti), 98, of Williamstown, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at her granddaughter's home.

Beloved wife of the late Walter Collings, Sr.  Devoted mother of the late Annette (late Frank) Wasneuski, late Walter “Boe” Collings and late John (Sarah) Collings. Predeceased by her siblings Tony Ligatti, Dick Ligatti, Joe Ligatti, Jimmy Ligatti and Flossie Collum. Loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Josephine family was her life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and caring for all those around her. Josie’s love was always felt by everyone who was lucky enough to be in her presence. Her laughter and sense of fun endeared her to all.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, March 16th from 10:30 – 11:30 AM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main St., Williamstown.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s RC Church, 32 Carroll Ave. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Williamstown.
