Joyce “Joy” Palmieri, 69, of Glassboro, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Joy was a devoted wife, mother, Mimi, sister, and friend whose greatest joy in life was her family.
Beloved wife of Albert Palmieri. Loving daughter of Eleanor Joyce Lamb (Parker) and the late Robert Lamb. Devoted mother of Christine Donzuso (Nicholas) and Albert M. Palmieri (Samantha). Adored Mimi of Johnny, Jordyn, Adriana, Aubrey, Gabby, Camryn, Jaxon, and Christian, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Dear sister of Kathy McArdle (Pat), Kevin Lamb (Eileen), Linda Eilola (Ed), Steven Lamb (Liz), and Terri Steinmetz (Beau).
Predeceased her brothers, Robert Lamb, Jack Lamb, Kenny Lamb, and Brian Lamb.
Joy loved to travel, spend time at the beach in North Wildwood, enjoy fine dining, and go shopping. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 8:00 - 10:00 AM at St. Clare of Assisi Parish / St. Michael’s R.C. Church, 320 Memorial Ave., Gibbstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Swedesboro.
