Kenneth A. Smith, of Collings Lakes, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023, in the comfort of his home with his loving family.
Kenny graduated in 1969 from Deptford High School. After graduating he soon became an Iron Worker, working many years for Shopmen’s Local 502 before retiring in 2013. He loved Metal Sculpting & Design and was a master at his craft. He enjoyed fishing and visiting the Tennessee Mountains. Besides the love he had for his family the love he had for his dog “Belle” was second to none.
Beloved husband of Darlene L. Smith (nee Merlino) for 51 years. Devoted father of Kenny Smith, Jr. and Shannon (Chris) Hammer. Dear brother of Debby (Ron) Ellis. Loving grandfather of Kenny and Aubrey.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Thursday, April 13th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main St., Williamstown. Funeral Service will follow at 8:00 PM. Cremation private.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a contribution be made in Kenny’s name to your local Humane Society or to Angelic Hospice @ www.donations.angelic.health.
