Kevin J. Steinmeyer, Sr.

Kevin J. Steinmeyer, Sr, 62, of Williamstown, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at his home.

Kevin was born February 28, 1959 in Philadelphia, Pa.  He graduated from St James High School where he played hockey and basketball.  He was a skilled tractor trailer driver by trade who loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his family down the shore. Kevin’s family and friends will always remember him as a funny guy who resembled Tommy Boy (Chris Farley), who was quick witted and loved to make you laugh.  Kevin had an uncanny ability to find happiness in the small things, and his genuine charm was contagious to everyone he met. To know Kevin was to love him.  He had a big personality, hilarious stories and he was always ready to lend a helping hand. He was a smart and loyal husband, father, and friend, and he loved his family more than anything. 

Beloved husband of Stephanie Flynn-Steinmeyer, devoted father of Stacey Steinmeyer, Kevin Steinmeyer Jr., Keith Steinmeyer, Kelly Steinmeyer, the late Kristopher Steinmeyer and the late Klyde Steinmeyer. Dear brother of Ernest (Beth) Steinmeyer, Howard Steinmeyer and Sandra (Richard) Hatton. Loving grandfather of Aaron, Brooke, and Kevin III. He is predeceased by his parents Howard Steinmeyer and Pauline (Matkowski) Steinmeyer.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, February 19th from 9:30 – 11:30 AM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 PM at St. Mary’s RC Church / Our Lady of Peace Parish, 32 Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Cremation and Interment private.
