Leo J. Connelly

Leo J. Connelly, 84, of West Deptford., passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

Leo was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, where he served as a paratrooper.  He worked for many years after the military as a Pipe Fitter for Philadelphia Gear Corp.  He was a dedicated family man who adored his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed cooking for everyone and spending time at the NJ shore.  He also loved the mummers and the tradition of mummering through his years.

Beloved husband of Agnes Connelly (nee Staples).  Devoted father of Agnes (Mark) Forte, Anna (Jeffrey Vetter) Connelly, Kelly Connelly and Grace (late Joe) Dolan (Greg Skomsky).  Loving grandfather of Mark, Ryan, Victor, Lauren, DeAnna and Grace.  Loving great grandfather of Kylie and Aubrey.  Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, January 25th from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main St., Williamstown.  Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
