Luther "Gary" Adcock, Sr.

Luther “Gary” Adcock, Sr., 80, of Williamstown, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024.

Gary retired after 40 years as Pressman for the Philadelphia Inquirer. In his later years, he enjoyed visiting the Jersey Shore. He was avid fan of the New York Yankees and Giants but rooted for the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.

Beloved husband of Susan (nee Dilks). Devoted father of Luther “Gary” Adcock, Jr., Paul Adcock, Erik Meyers (Leslie Cain) and the late Ashly Meyers. Dear brother of Patricia (the late Art) Petty. Loving grandfather of Kaylyn, Matthew, Christian, Camryn, Madisyn and Fiona. Loving uncle of Joseph Brooks.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, December 6th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 32 Carroll Ave., Williamstown, NJ 08094. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Private Inurnment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
