Marilyn A. Benevento (nee Veith), 93, of Northport, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at her daughter’s home in Sicklerville. Marilyn loved dancing, music and gardening. She enjoyed teaching English to immigrants at the Northport library and was very active in the Senior Center in Northport. Marilyn was a member of the High Hat Ladies,who visited nursing homes and entertained the residents with their costumes and home made musical instruments.
Devoted mother of Elena (the late Richard) Heffner, Anthony Benevento, Joseph Benevento (Susan), Gail Benevento, Daniel Benevento (Dawn), Ray Benevento (Diana) and the late Marianne Benevento. Dear sister of Robert (Rose) Veith, the late George Veith and the late Raymond Veith. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren, (Nicole, Joseph, Eliana, Marianne , Zachary, Mario, Marlo, Daniel, Lianne, Anthony, Joelene, Jacob) and 7 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, January 4th from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM at Our Lady Peace Parish / St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 32 Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Alzheimer’s Association @ alz.org
