Mary J. Murphy (nee Callahan), 93, of Jacksonville, FL, previously from Williamstown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
Mary was a proud member of the Red Hats Organization and a former member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Mater Creatoris #1808. She was fun-loving and a jack of all trades. She could fix or do anything she set her mind to. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
Beloved wife of the late John E. Murphy. Devoted mother of Mary T. Murphy, Deborah (Dave) Burkhardt, Teresa Friedley, John E. Murphy, Jr., Joanne (late Chip) Mazza, Margaret (Ken) Kruger and Steven (Lisa) Murphy. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren. Loving grandmother of 7 great grandchildren. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, February 3rd from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary's RC Church, 32 Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Williamstown.
