Maryann Hart (née Hight), of Berlin, NJ, peacefully left this world on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at approximately 6:25 p.m.
William Hart, her beloved husband of 37 years, and her extended family and friends assembled to say a final goodbye to this beloved wife, second oldest sister, favorite aunt, and lifelong friend.
Maryann graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School in Drexel Hill, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
Maryann was an extremely organized person. Bill was eclectic. Opposites attract!
Maryann spent 30 years with Conrail, where she met her husband, Bill. She then went on to work for Amtrak as a Customer Service Representative (a position she proudly performed for the last 10 years of her career) receiving many awards and commendations for her skill, dedication, and outstanding interactions with her Amtrak patrons.
Maryann and Bill enjoyed many trips throughout the years. Mostly in the United States and the Caribbean, but also England, as well as a Royal Caribbean cruise! They attended a close friend's wedding in Aruba, also many extended family vacations in Disney World.
Maryann and Bill also, through the years, always did their best to lend a helping hand for family members in their time of need.
Maryann is survived by her younger sister, Patti Ochuto and her older sister Peggy Bauman, as well as her brother Bill Hight, a Silver-Star decorated, Vietnam Vet!
Maryann was preceded in death by her younger sister Kathy Arzio. Maryann also has many nieces and nephews (with their children and spouses) who are also mourning her sudden loss!
As Frank Capra would say "It was a Wonderful Life!". Yes, it was....
Funeral Services are private at the request of the family.
