Michael J. Christy

Michael J. Christy, 68, of Williamstown, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, with his loving family by his side.  

Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Cionci) for 42 years.  Devoted father of Michael (Jenna) Christy, Jr., Nicole (Ray) Accardo and Meghan (Frank) Bonato.  Dear brother of Albert (Catherine) Christy.  Loving grandfather of Ava, Ray Ray, Mikey and Frankie.  Dear friend to many and best friend to his loyal dog, Poppi.

Michael was a retired Pipefitter for Local 322.  He was a proud husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. A true family man, who always made everyone laugh.  He loved his beach house in Brigantine where he shared his love of the shore, fishing, boating and water skiing with his family.  He also enjoyed trips snow skiing and dinners with family and friends.  Michael will be sadly missed by all of those whose lives he has touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, October 18th from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s RC Church, 32 Carroll Ave., Williamstown.   Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM.  Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
