Mike Kouser,72, of Haddonfield, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at his home surrounded by the people he loved.
He is survived by his devoted wife Lynne, his children, Crystal, Tammy (Mike), Michael (Annmarie), Philip (Jametria), and Wayne (Dana), his brother Eddie, his nine grandchildren, Jared (23), Conner (21), Alyssa (16), Matthew (15), Julia (13), Kaitlyn(13), Maddie (11), PJ (6), and Jordan (5), and countless nieces and nephews. He is reunited in death with his beloved son-in-law Dink and his sister Bobbie.
Mike was born on June 29, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Williamstown, NJ. He met his wife Lynne at a high school dance in 1966. He graduated from Williamstown High School and on August 23, 1969 he and Lynne got married and started their family.
He was a dedicated Bradlees employee for 36 years and he enjoyed spending his free time golfing and playing cards with his friends at Wedgewood Golf Club.
Although Mike did not have a typical family upbringing, he built an amazing family, and his kids were his number one priority. He had high expectations, held them accountable, and pushed them to reach their full potential in everything they did.
His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He never missed a game or an opportunity to cheer them on. In return they adored and respected him beyond measure. His lessons and example of hard work and perseverance will live on through each of them.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM Friday March 5th at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s RC Church, Main St. & Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Private Inurnment at a later date.
