Milagros Plaza Obituary

Milagros “Lagi” Plaza, (nee Sales) age 74,  passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
 

Beloved wife of late Wilfredo Plaza! Beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many.

She is survived by her son Ernesto Padilla Jr. (Sheyla), grandchildren Ernesto Padilla III (Melinda), Dante Padilla (Justine), and Sky Padilla. Sister to Estebania Perez, Aida Rivera, Ramon Sales, Rafael Sales, Ana Sales and late Doris Sales and Carmen Perez. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Known for her kindness, wisdom, acceptance of others, hardworking attitude, love of Spanish music, and devotion to family and faith, she touched the lives of everyone around her. She would always offer advice and help to those in need.  

Her legacy endures in the memories she created, the stories she shared, and the love she gave so freely. She was a hardworking and loving mother that assisted in guiding others and most importantly her son in times of need. She was patient in difficult times and showed the mental fortitude to get through any adversity that came her way. She was the best of us and contributed to the good that is in this world.

Milagros loved to go to church every weekend with her son, try her favorite foods at her favorite restaurants and go for walks to get her exercise. She also, loved to talk to her grandchildren and catch up on their lives, in addition to spending time with her family.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Friday, November 14th from 8:45 - 9:45 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 642 Market St., Camden. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM. Interment Haleigh Cemetery, Camden. 

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
