Morris C. Macklin, Sr., 78, of Pitman, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Devoted son, brother, husband, father. Prior to retiring, he was a loyal employee of Wawa. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Navy. A true Philadelphia Sports fan, he enjoyed all Philadelphia sports and loved family gatherings, BBQ’s, amusement parks and walking his pets.
Beloved husband of Mary L. Macklin (nee Prell) for 53 years. Devoted father of Mary Matousch, Morris (Eileen) Macklin and Beverly (Gary) Stiles. Dear brother of Elsie Palombi, Richard Macklin, John Macklin and 8 predeceased siblings. Loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren. Loving great-grandfather of 2 great grandchildren and 2 late grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, October 15th from 6:00 -8:00 PM and on Wednesday October 16th from 9:30 -10:30 AM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main St., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s RC Church, 32 Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Committal with Military Honors will be held at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
