Peter Burgio Sr.

Peter Burgio Sr., 76, of Williamstown, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018.

Born in Harlem, NY, raised in Fort Lee, NJ, Peter has resided in Williamstown since 1979.  He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force and was member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3352.  Prior to retiring, Peter was Financial Analyst at PNC.

Beloved husband of Cherie (nee Toinè) for 50 years.  Devoted father of Peter (Heidi) Burgio Jr. and the late Sonny Burgio.  Loving grandfather of Anthony, Gianna, Dominic, Julia and Sophia.  Dear brother of Lilly (the late Salvador) Davanzo, Carmelo (Theresa) Burgio and Mary (the late Anthony) Melillo.  Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, January 26th from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s Church, Main St. & Carroll Ave., Williamstown.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM.  Inurnment 1:00 PM Saturday, January 27th at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Walnut St., Williamstown.

Arrangements are under the direction of the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, Williamstown.
