Robert C. Fithian, Jr.

Robert C. Fithian, Jr., 56, of Clayton, formerly of Franklinville, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026.

Robert spent most of his life in Franklinville, known to almost everyone as “EZB.” Robert shared his passion for music with his community from a young age. During his early adult life, he worked as a DJ at the Franklinville Skating Center where his love for music, outgoing personality, and infectious energy left a lasting impression on countless friends and neighbors. He could often be found playing the drums or bass. Robert spent most of his adult life working alongside his family at Ashmen Installations Inc., where he was a dedicated and hardworking Project Manager. On his free time, Robert enjoyed spending time at the beach and was a devoted Christian whose faith remained an important part of his life.

Robert was a wonderful friend who was always there for those around him. He maintained many lifelong friendships, remaining close with the friends he had known since childhood. His loyalty, kindness, and generous spirit made him an incredible person whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew him.

He is survived by his former beloved wife, Lisa Ganzer; his loving mother, Geraldine Fithian (Jeff Bohner); his stepchildren, Taylor and Noah; his dear sisters, Dawn Ashmen (Anthony), Sandee Fithian, Yvonne Fithian, and Janine Mims (Roger); and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Robert was predeceased by his father, Robert C. Fithian, Sr.

He was also a cherished uncle to Antonio, Miranda, Milania, Alessio, Amato, Jesse, Natalia, Sophia, Daniel, Marissa, Harry, Dani, Christine, Steven, Raven, and Samantha, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Robert will be remembered for his joyful spirit, his love of family and friends, and the happiness he brought to those who knew him. His smile, laughter, and generous nature will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to Robert’s viewing on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Cremation private
