Robert P. Murphy, Sr.

Robert P. Murphy, Sr., 83, of Williamstown, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, with his loving family by his side.

Robert worked for many years at the South Jersey Port Corporation. After retiring he began driving a school bus for STA in Williamstown to keep himself busy.  He loved socializing at the Williamstown Senior Center, watching and going to NASCAR races, watching the Phillies, camping and spending time with his loved ones. He will be sadly missed by all.

Devoted husband of Beverly M. Murphy (nee Lavin) of almost 64 years.  Devoted father of Robert (Debbie) Murphy, Jr., Kenneth Murphy, Karen (Jeff) Brown and the late Bonnie-Jean Murphy.  Predeceased by his loving parents Walter Murphy and Edith Whiteall. Dear brother of the late Dorothy Schober, late Walter Murphy, late William Murphy and late Shirley Fowler.  Loving grandfather of Kyle (Kim) Harris, Craig Murphy, Ryan Murphy and Shawn (Chelsea) Murphy.  Loving soon to be great grandfather of baby Averie. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his Graveside Service on Friday, August 2nd at 1:00 PM at Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Highway, Clarksboro, NJ.
