Rochelle C. Correll

Rochelle C. Correll, lovingly known as "Roe," of Williamstown, NJ passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 80, with her daughters by her side.

Born on August 12, 1944, in Brooklyn, NY, Roe was the daughter of the late Barclay and Eva Farenga.  She was predeceased by her brothers, Vincent, Charles, and Barclay "Bobby" Farenga, and her husband, Robert F. Correll.

Roe dedicated many years of her career as a secretary for the Veterans Administration at Calverton National Cemetery. 

Roe was a devoted and loving mother to Janet P Tucker (Scott) and Debra A Heller (Ryan) and a cherished grandmother to Alexandra and Julianna Tucker, and Tessa and Zachary Heller.  She also shared a loving bond with her longtime partner, James Mertens and their sweet yorkie, Cindy Lou.  

She was happiest when surrounded by those she loved.  Roe was a lifelong baseball fan and could be heard loudly cheering on the New York Mets during baseball season.  She was her children's and grandchildren's biggest fan, celebrating every achievement, big or small.

Her warmth and unwavering love leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of those closest to her.  As her children and grandchildren say, "Love you to the moon and back."

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, May 29th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main Street, Williamstown. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM. Private Burial Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
