Stephen M. Foley

Stephen “Steve” M. Foley, 58, of Sicklerville, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.

Steve is survived and deeply missed by his loving wife Shelly Lucas-Foley (nee DiMattesa), daughter Brianna Lucas and son Kristian Foley.  He was the devoted son of Marie and the late Joseph Foley, dear brother of Joseph (Maureen) Foley, Mark Foley and Linda (Brian) Murphy as well as the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

Steve retired from Rowan University after devoting 37 years of his life.  During this time, he touched many lives of students and staff alike. He was known for his helpful nature, pranks and humor.

Steve was a kind soul who enjoyed the outdoors and nature, especially fishing, hunting, and gardening.  He had an affinity for animals and enjoyed being in the woods and spending time watching his pond.  Steve also enjoyed the company of his dogs and cat.

Steve was a collector and a slot car and train enthusiast.  He was very creative and poured his heart into creating elaborate layouts with exquisite detail. 

Steve enjoyed cooking and he expressed his love for his family and friends in the meals he created and served.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, September 22nd from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main St., Williamstown.  Memorial Services will follow at 8:00 PM.
