Ted Benjamin Stanton Sr., age 61, passed away on February 24, 2022, at AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs. Born in Camden NJ, he was the son of Shirley and Edward Stanton. He was employed by TriCity Electric where he worked as an electrician for 22 years, eventually climbing to the rank of general superintendent.
“Papa” enjoyed spending time with friends, family, “family”, and loved spending time with his kids and grandkids, being a child himself at heart. He is survived by his parents, Shirley and Ted; siblings, Laurie and Michael; kids, Cheryl and Ted Jr.; his daughter-in-law, Jaclynn; his grandchildren, Nathan, Chase, and Angelina; countless friends and unofficial family, and his adopted cat, Meow-Meow. He was predeceased by his brother Steven.
Ted will be remembered for many things including his infectious smile, never ending humor, genuine caring, and always going out of the way for anyone at any time. He was not only a father to his family, but a father to many of his friends and coworkers.
