Teresa Kubber Roman, of Williamstown, formerly of Bolivia, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2, 2026, embraced by the love of her family in the comfort of her granddaughter’s home.
Teresa was born in Roboré, Bolivia, to the late Conrado Kubber Paredes and Carmen Román Chavez. She was one of eight children and shared a deep, unbreakable bond with her siblings—Ana Maria, Nadia Margarita, Selva, Yolanda, Conrado, Maria Cristina, and Carmen Sonia Kubber Román—a bond rooted in faith, devotion, and a lifetime of shared memories.
A gentle soul with a brilliant mind, Teresa found joy in literature and poetry. She was a devoted lifelong learner who earned her bachelor’s degree in literature and went on to share her love of words as a professor of literature. Teaching was not simply her profession—it was one of the many ways she gave of herself, nurturing hearts and minds with patience, grace, and kindness.
While teaching, Teresa met the love of her life, the late Juan Blancart. A journalist by trade, Juan captured her heart, and together they shared a beautiful love story filled with courage, laughter, and devotion. Guided by faith and hope for a brighter future, they took a brave leap and made their home in the United States, building a life centered on love and family.
Above all else, Teresa was a devoted wife and a deeply loving mother. She was the cherished mother of John Paul Blancart (and his wife, Joanna), Ruth Jeter, and the late Tariña Blancart, whom she carried forever in her heart. Her love as a mother was steady, sacrificial, and unconditional—an unshakable foundation for her children through every season of life.
Teresa’s heart overflowed with love for her grandchildren—Sebastian, Rebecca (and her husband, Lito), Aaliyah (and her fiancé, Alex),Jacqueline, Emma, and Liam—and her great-grandchildren—Victoria, Mateo, and Lionel. She delighted in each of them, and her love lives on in every smile, every embrace, and every story they will carry forward.
Teresa was a woman of quiet strength, deep compassion, and extraordinary grace. Her presence brought peace, her laughter felt like home, and her love wrapped around everyone she encountered. Family was her greatest blessing and her sacred calling. Through whispered prayers, gentle wisdom, warm embraces, and simply being there when it mattered most, she gave endlessly of herself.
Her life was a testament to love, faith, service, and devotion. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we are comforted knowing that her spirit lives on in the lives she touched and the generations she so lovingly shaped.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, February 7th, from 2:30 to 3:30 PM at Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main Street, Williamstown. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:30 PM. Cremation was held privately.
Though Teresa has been called home, her love remains—guiding, comforting, and surrounding her family always, until they meet again.
We honor her.
