Theodore "Teddy" Eugene Dewees, III, 39, of Blackwood, formerly of Williamstown, passed away on April 6, 2020 after succumbing to injuries sustained from a pedestrian accident.
He went to Williamstown High School, then followed in his father's and grandfather’s footsteps and completed the Local 8 Carpenter's Apprenticeship. He had a passion for tile work, and especially enjoyed the jobs which he was able to express his creativity through intricate design.
All of his friends would agree that he was the life of the party; full of energy and crazy ideas most of the time. There was never a dull moment when it involved Teddy. He enjoyed reading Edgar Allen Poe poems, and even recited stanzas to friends at times. He had a big heart and would stop at nothing to protect his family and friends. His memory will certainly be kept alive through sharing stories and reminiscing about his constant shenanigans.
He is survived by his parents Theodore and Barbara (Dolce) Dewees, his grandmother Joan (Cicalese) Dewees, his sister Tina (Dewees) Bouchaud and her husband Raymond, sister Stefanie (Dewees) Miles and her husband Matthew, brother Michael V. Dewees, nephews Vincent, Matthew, Justin and niece Isabella along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandfather and grandmother Vincent Dolce and Gloria (Massanova) Dolce and grandfather Theodore E. Dewees Sr.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation on Wednesday, November 4th from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Hope Parish / St. Agnes RC Church, 701 Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood. Memorial Mass will follow at 2:00 PM.
