Theresa A. Levin (nee Moore), 91, of Williamstown, formerly of Cherry Hill and South Philadelphia , passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Theresa was a true South Philadelphian. She was a huge fan of the Phillies, the Mummers, dancing, walking through the city, and talking about its history. She was a generous, caring and selfless person. She was happiest being around her large family. She was known over the years for hosting her many nieces and nephews at her home. Theresa absolutely adored her daughter Michelle, her grandson Andrew, and her son in-law Andy. She spoke fondly of her late husband Ben and often commented on how proud he would be of all they’ve accomplished. She was always there to offer love and support to everyone she cared about; smiling and offering words of encouragement.
Predeceased by her parents John and Helen (nee Hession) Moore. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin Levin. Devoted mother of Michelle (Andy) Schwaiger. Adoring “Mema” to Andrew Schwaiger. Dear sister of the late Marie Cunningham, the late Helen O’Neill, the late Joseph Moore, the late Dolores Fluehr, the late Margaret Moore, the late John Moore Jr., the late Patricia Lee and the late Marcella Turci. Beloved Aunt and friend to many.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Monday, October 14th from 9:00 – 10:30 AM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main Street, Williamstown. Funeral Mass will follow 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s RC Church, Main St. & Carroll Ave., Williamstown.
