Thomas C. Freeman, Sr.

Thomas C. Freeman Sr., 66, of Monroeville (Ferrell) NJ, passed away Friday, December 11, peacefully at his home.  

Tom aka “The Gray Ghost”, was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers local 825. He had countless lifelong friends from the local 825. When Tom wasn’t working for the local, he would spend countless hours in his “Shop”. Tom was a man beyond his years as he could fix, fabricate, and build anything out of anything he had laying around. Tom also loved his equipment from his tractors to his forklift something was always buzzing. He enjoyed showing his children the things he had learned growing up. Tom’s children and grandchildren are forever in debt for all of the knowledge he has taught them.

Devoted father of Thomas (Tamara) Freeman, Benjamin (Sarah), Robert Freeman and Amanda Freeman. Dear brother of Helen (Rusty) Wright, Elaine Thibault, Laura (Dana) DeCesari, William (Robin) Freeman, James Freeman, Joan (Art) Michelson, Nancy (Paul) Berry, Daniel Freeman, Donna Sheets and the late Clara Tarantella. Loving grandfather of Alexis, Kelly, Benjamin Jr., Thomas III, Jillian, Thomas and Dylan. Loving uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewings Thursday, December 17th from 6:00 – 9:00 PM and Friday, December 18th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
