Viola M. Char (nee Tello), “Aunt Vi”, 95, of Pitman, formerly of Clayton, passed away on Saturday, March 28,2020 at the United Methodist Communities in Pitman.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Paul L. Char; her loving parents Joseph and Sophie Tello and her dear siblings Samuel Tello, Mary Kucher, Joseph Tello, Helen Sandelier and Francis Tello. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews including Jeanne (David) Schoellkopf, Robert (Dana) Sandelier, Susan Sandelier and Kathleen Sandelier.
Born and raised In Williamstown, Viola and husband built their own home in Clayton and lived there for over 50 years. The last few years she resided at the United Methodist Communities - Pitman with loving care. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church where she served on the Altar and Rosary Society. She also helped with many fundraisers for the Church, School and Convent. Viola was a talented seamstress making prom gowns and a wedding dress.
Due to the current health crisis, Funeral Services and Interment will be private.
