Virginia E. Alexander (nee Moore), 79, of Collings Lakes, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Sunday, June 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Virginia was an equestrian. She enjoyed riding, caring for and occasionally betting on her favorite horses. Some would say, “She could’ve been the First Woman Horse Jockey.” She also loved music, watching Jeopardy and her cats. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many.
Beloved wife of Oswald B. Alexander, Jr. for 52 years. Devoted mother of Richard Alexander, Gin-Ann (Joseph) Umosella and Lynette Alexander (John Barlow). Dear sister of Edward (late Georgeann), Joseph Greenlee and the late Shirley Moore. Loving aunt of Loretta J. Moore, whom was like a daughter. Loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren. Loving great-grandmother of 3 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, June 13th at 2:00 PM at The Abundant Life Center, on route 54 in Buena Vista Twp.
