So sad to know such a great woman is no longer with us. I was always torn between calling her Mrs. Heggan or Gram at school. She was sweet and kind... and always gave us a snack when we would visit. running to her house back and forth was part of the play day! Hope she is enjoying Pop and looking down on all of us with smiles! XO XO

My heart is broken. I know you are better now, with Pop and the rest of the family you missed so much. All of the time spent with you will be cherished. It was an honor to be able to be by your side and help you the way you did for us our entire lives. What we did was only a fraction of what you did for all of us. The sacrifices you made over the past 35 years will never be forgotten. If Tina and I had to do it all again, we would in a heartbeat. I'm a better person for having had you my whole life. You taught us what it was to help those in need, we now pass these values on to our children. Everything you ever did for us, you did without question or hesitation. You were the most loving, giving and selfless person. Everyone who knew you, knew that about you and loved and respected you for it. You were the true definition of a lady. I know in my mind its better for you this way, I just wish someone could tell it to my heart. You left for Heaven the way you lived your life, with beauty and grace. I was honored to hold your hand as you made that journey. I love you Gram, a bushel and a peck, and a hug around the neck <3 always and forever <3 Love, Mer

So sorry to hear of this sad news. I remember Nancy fondly from School 1. She was always kind and loved not only all her grandchildren who attended School #1 but also all the students there! My thoughts are with the family and especially all of you that I taught.

Gram was a wonderful woman, Liberian, mother and grandmother. We are truly sorry for the loss of such a wise and thoughtful woman. Gram will watch over and always be by your sides. We love all of you and she is resting well.
